The Loftsgard Family...
Hello!!
On the left, you will find my family; Jarrod (hubby), Logan (11), Peyton (8), and Madison (5). Logan, Peyton, and Maddie attend Valley of Elgin and are in 5th, 2nd, and preschool respectively. Jarrod works for Baker Concrete as Project Estimator and Project Manager. As a family, we love to play board games (Monopoly, UNO, and Sorry are among the favs), go to water parks, hang out and watch/play the sport of the season!
I graduated from University of Northern Iowa in 1998 with a BA in Social Sciences with minors in American Government, American History, World Geography. In 2002, I earned my Special Education Endorsement from Upper Iowa University. And then in 2010, I earned my Masters of Science in Education from Walden University.
I am interested in anything and everything innovative,
positive, and progressive. Focused on the 21st century learning, global citizenship, purposeful technology integration, and Project Based Learning.
The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates.
The great teacher inspires.
